GENRE: roguelike, RPG
STATUS: ongoing — nowhere near finished
PLATFORM: Linux (runs great on NixOS)

The most ambitious roguelike I've played. The world is procedurally generated but persistent.

What interests me most is the mutation system. Your character can have biological mutations or mental mutations. These interact with each other and with the world in ways the game doesn't fully explain. I spent 20 minutes in one run using Burgeoning to grow a wall of vines to block a corridor while I fought through a chokepoint. That wasn't a strategy I read about — I figured it out because the game's systems are consistent and explorable.
